Joanne Davis’ career in politics and government has spanned over twenty years and has included working with top elected officials, state political parties, public opinion leaders and corporate executives in both California and nationwide.
Davis is a member of the American Association of Political Consultants. She speaks at seminars on the topic of campaign finance management and has authored articles on fundraising strategies for numerous trade and general interest publications.  She has served on the Board of Directors of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce since 2005 and is currently Chairwoman for the 2011-2012 term. In May of 2010 she was awarded the prestigious Small Business Advocate of the Year from the California Chamber of Commerce.
As President of The Davis Group, Davis has served as the Chief Financial Officer for recent senate candidate Carly Fiorina, a campaign that raised over $23 million nationally. She has served in similar capacities for the California Republican Party (2010), Whitman for Governor (2009-2010), Romney for President (2007-2008) and from 2003 to 2006 with Californians for Schwarzenegger, California Recovery Team and California Dream Team.

In previous years, she served as Statewide Finance Director for the Bill Simon for Governor Campaign, overseeing the fundraising efforts that raised over $21 million for the general election cycle.  She served in the same position for the primary election campaign of Richard Riordan for Governor.

Previous to these efforts, Mrs. Davis worked in the finance and fundraising fields for several political and non-profit clients, including George W. Bush for President, Victory 2000, the Assembly Republican PAC, Keith Olberg for Secretary of State, the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, the Republican National Committee, the California Republican Party and many others.

Davis served as Campaign Manager for the re-election of Attorney General Dan Lungren, coordinating the efforts that resulted in 1994 in a landslide victory over the challenger.  In the mid-1990s her work for Lungren resulted in a clear primary field and Lungren ran unopposed for Governor in 1998.  With a goal of $20 million to raise for the campaign, she designed and implemented a comprehensive fundraising program that raised over $32 million for the Governor’s race.

Davis has also worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC for a Member of Congress and a United States Senator.  The combination of government and political experiences provides her a diverse yet thorough background.
